The USCIS only spent 24 days adjudicating this EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition. We are pleased that our diligent efforts have enabled our client to get one step closer to his green card.

With a doctoral degree, 18 published journal articles that had gathered 92 citations at the time of filing, and years of experience in the field of applied physics, our client had the relevant credentials to be eligible for the national interest waiver. The research that this postdoctoral researcher from Nepal is conducting focuses on low cost and high sensitivity sensors for chemical sensing, microwave energy sensing, and the detection of biological entities. He has designed a novel class of magnetic biosensors for detection of cancer cells and biomolecules, developed a class of inexpensive chemical sensors for industrial and environmental hazard management, and presented a method of producing microwave energy sensors, all of which our legal team proved are essential to the United States’ research community and various scientific industries.
