Case Summary:

Nebraska Service Center (NSC) approved the EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition of a Michigan-based battery research engineer in a short span of 8 days. This quick adjudication period was possible on account of Premium Processing. Premium Processing is an option offered by the USCIS for petitioners who want to speed up adjudication of their petitions. As a result, a petition that would normally take 4-9 months to be processed would be done within 15 days from the date of filing.

To validate the extent of international influence his work had garnered, our client procured 5 letters of recommendation from other top-level experts. A well-known mechanical engineering consultant affiliated with a multinational corporation stated: “Although small lithium-ion batteries are standard in handheld devices, larger versions have grown in demand as electric and hybrid electric vehicles become more viable and cost-effective. It is immensely important to the national interest that the United States steward the worldwide development of this technology. For this reason, I want to strongly emphasize the national importance of [Client’s] research.” These letters, which were incorporated into our client’s EB1A petition dossier, amply endorsed our client’s credentials.
