Case Summary:

A Chinese postdoctoral fellow engaged in proteomics research hired North America Immigration Law Group (NAILG) to help him obtain I-140 EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) approval. As the first step in the two-part green card process, an approved I-140 would help him move closer to permanent residency in the United States. Working out of Maryland and holding a doctoral degree in biological sciences, our client’s impressive credentials assured us that we could steer his case to a successful ending. We countersigned the retainer agreement after confirming that he met at least 3 out of the 10 EB1A requirements set by the USCIS:

1. Published Work in Major Media: At the time of filing, our client had already published 19 peer-reviewed scientific articles in prominent scientific journals.
2. Recognition in the Field: Our client’s published work had already garnered an impressive 189 citations when we filed his case.
