Case Summary:

Largely thanks to Premium Processing (PP), a postdoctoral associate from India did not have to wait very long for the USCIS to take action on her EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition. Just 9 days after filing, we received word that her case had been approved. With extensive experience working in the field of biomedical science, our client was a suitable candidate for EB-1A. We are pleased that our diligent efforts propelled her closer to her end goal of obtaining a green card. Here are some of the key points that we highlighted in her EB-1A petition packet:

• We noted her various research-focused achievements such as her impressive citation count (100 citations at the time of filing), publications (5 papers), and peer review record (nearly two dozen peer reviews conducted for multiple scientific journals).
• To fortify our presentation, we incorporated six recommendation letters that clearly supported the approval of our client’s EB-1A petition. These letters were contributed by influential professors immersed in the biomedical science community, one of whom stated that “Continued research in this area is certainly in the interests of the United States, where the medical community strives to deliver the best, most effective therapies and treatments to the millions of American citizens affected by incurable diseases like cancer, muscular dystrophy, and Alzheimer’s. [Client’s] research adds to this goal on a basic level. Indeed, [Client] has introduced unrivaled findings to the field that have identified her as an irreplaceable frontrunner in her chosen specialty.”
• Finally, we carefully documented our client’s research projects on the genetics and molecular mechanisms that facilitated key discoveries in neuromuscular development, muscle regeneration and muscle disease. We did this in order to prove that her investigations are important to the United States and that she should be allowed to continue conducting research in the country.

Because we were able to present a clear and concise EB-1A case, the USCIS was persuaded to approve our client’s petition. Not just that, they did so without issuing a Request for Evidence (RFE). We congratulate our client on this win, and we are pleased to hear that she recently obtained I-485 approval with the help of our DIY Packet.
