Our client in this case was an Assistant Professor from China who had primarily worked on engineering several pertinent materials and technologies related to medical diagnosis and therapy.  His work had resulted in 26 peer-reviewed scientific articles, 23 presentations at national and international conferences, and 2 patents; at the time that his case was filed, his publications had been cited at least 542 times by independent and leading researchers from prestigious institutions and organizations around the world, indicating the major significance of his work.  He had also reviewed 14 manuscripts for 12 distinctive, internationally-circulated journals. An independent recommender remarked upon his superior expertise: “[Client] and his team developed a microfluidic microfiltration platform that efficiently isolates and purifies different subpopulations of immune cells directly from blood samples, which creates a functional immunophenotype for patients.
