In this case, the client that we had the opportunity to work with was a Tattoo Artist from Slovakia. Specifically, client’s artistic work has focused on perfecting photorealistic tattooing. This is a specialized type of tattooing that requires artists to go beyond simple shading and coloring to promote three dimensional qualities in a tattoo. Photorealism tattooists must be able to perceive different lighting and angles of a picture and recreate these features on skin to accurately depict true-to-life tattoos, a fact that requires artists working in this line of tattooing to be especially gifted and skilled in their craft.  His superior level of expertise was confirmed in the following quotes from recommenders, “From an early point in his professional career, [client] has demonstrated a proven track record of attainment in advancing intricate methods of composing, shading, and coloring tattoos that have afforded him the opportunity to become an elite member of the artistic tattooing community in the United States.”, “By the time a pattern is finished it should essentially be a clear-cut replica or map of a portrait used for tracing and reference during tattooing.
