Case Summary:

When our client, an Indian research fellow with a doctoral degree in chemistry, approached North America Immigration Law Group (NAILG) for assistance with EB-1A filing, we first evaluated her credentials. We were impressed with the 20 peer-reviewed journal articles she had published and the 411 citations that they had obtained. Moreover, the fact that she had conducted 4 peer reviews further showcased her respected standing in the field.

Based on our client’s aforementioned research achievements, we decided to represent her EB-1A case. After countersigning the legal agreement, we started assembling a well-structured petition that comprised of her scholarly contributions, recommendation letters, and other evidence of her extraordinary ability.

Her strong educational and professional background has positioned [Client] to continue contributing in meaningful ways to her field and to issues of great concern to the healthcare sector.” This statement was taken from a recommendation letter in support of our client’s EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition. Several other experts also contributed recommendation letters, all of which provided the USCIS with a clear picture of our client’s expertise in the field of microbiology.

We also demonstrated that our client’s research addresses some of the United States’ most pressing issues in understanding the oncogenic mechanisms of DNA viruses. We persuaded the USCIS that her research directly aids the American scientific community and her achievements are of the utmost importance due to their contributions to human health and wellbeing.

In addition to carefully assembling the required documents to file the EB-1A petition on behalf of our client, our team has included customized figures and tables for visualization to indicate that our client’s publications have been cited at a much higher rate than those of other researchers in the field, distinguishing her from her peers. The visual presentation of the data has indeed further demonstrated and supported the argument in the petition letter drafted by us.
